Mark Johnson is a writer, director and visual artist based in Los Angeles. He has been working in theater and film for 35 years.

 

After studying media at New York University, he led the acclaimed DETEKTOR theater ensemble in Berlin and worked as a stage actor in Brussels before relocating to Los Angeles in 2004.

He recently wrote the feature film WEATHER HOUSE, an official selection of the 2017 Slamdance, Cinedelphia, Chicago Underground and Tucson film festivals and is currently writing and directing ENTERTAINMENT, a serial work being produced with On Air in Berlin and collaborators in Los Angeles, Berlin and New York.
